Positions for Immediate Hire

HVAC SALESPERSON – Present features, benefits, and options for furnace and air conditioning system replacement.  Must know how to calculate load sizes for heat gain/heat loss measurements to size equipment properly.  Good people skills.  Looking for a motivated self-starter who will take over this responsibility from the owner who is a Carrier million dollar salesperson.  Good closing skills, profitability, and ability to work with our installation teams are essential.  Understanding of features and benefits of Carrier product are preferred but can be taught.  This position can be created as either residential only or residential with commercial sales opportunities.

COMMERCIAL SERVICE AGREEMENT SPECIALIST – Sell and maintain service agreements for commercial customer accounts, presenting benefits of preventive maintenance and illustrating cost savings.  Do you have a basic understanding of HVAC equipment and can talk to facility managers about the benefits of our Peak Performance ProCheck Agreements?  Do you look for work and opportunities?  (When you sell our agreements, customers benefit with our technicians who are certified ProTec technicians.)  Do you like to get out and meet new customers and prospects – this could be your dream job.

What is ProTecs?

ProTecs is a systematic approach to providing customer satisfaction through qualified, trained and certified technicians.  The ultimate goal of ProTecs is to provide the best possible customer service.  By having qualified, trained service techs and installers, Cyngier can provide top service to customers.  With five levels of technical proficiency, tested by nationally and internationally recognized agencies such as ARI, NATE, GAMMA, RSES, etc., there is little doubt as to the qualification of our techs.  Total quality service is evaluated, not just technical expertise.

Quality service is further improved by having standardized ProCheck procedures.  Heating and cooling tune-ups are formatted to ensure that all Carrier ProTec customers receive the maximum benefits and best service.

Experienced specialists in the various equipment types (residential service, light commercial, refrigeration, installation, etc.) stay attuned to the latest technological advances by attending manufacturers training sessions.  Each specialist also fills the role of the resident expert when newer techs need help.  While other companies scramble to become nationally certified, the Carrier Dealer ProTecs is already established, leading the way in certified customer satisfaction.

At the entry level, we offer ProTecs U.  This is a two-year apprenticeship program in which a qualified student is hired (sponsored) by a Carrier ProTecs dealer.  In the first year (four quarters), the student works 60% of the time and attends class 40% of the time.  This is daytime school and work.  In the second year, the student works full time and attends classes three nights a week.  Upon completion, the student must attain a score of 70% or better on the ARI/GAMMA residential exam to graduate as a ProTecs Tech I level.  At this point, the new Tech I ProTecs technician has really just begun his career and lifelong learning path.  To be eligible for the program, an applicant must have a good driving record, pass alcohol/drug testing, pass a criminal check, be mechanically inclined, be presentable and a motivated person who is quick and interested in learning.  The student signs for a loan which is paid off according to terms of the ProTecs agreement as long as the student remains in the sponsor dealer’s employment.
